(Paolo Emilio Taviani and the 'corporative salary')
Abstract: Taviani looks at the Lateran Pacts of 1929 as the historical and political event which can allow to realize
a Christian corporatism inspired by Neo-Thomism philosophy. In a Corporatist society, salary
can be obtained through a collective bargaining in which transaction costs are minimized because of
the mutual acknowledgement of a common belonging to the nation by labor unions and by entrepreneurs.
The role of the State depends on the changing way of the relationship between the author and Fascism: 
the State as the necessary authoritative actor banning labor conflicts theorized by
Taviani during his adhesion to Fascism is abandoned after his choice not to lend his support to the
dictatorship anymore
